I recently had the pleasure of speaking with Mrs. Dana Pitts, the Associate Director of Communications, Division of Foodborne, Waterborne, and Environmental Diseases at Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). She was able to tell me more about CDC’s commitment to food safety, and how they have a key role in the prevention of foodborne disease.
